Why did you choose engineering as your profession? What do you do as this kind of engineer? Was there anyone who helped you become an engineer?

I chose engineering because I wanted to make a difference! I have always loved technology and cool gadgets. I had plenty of mentors along the way including my father (an engineer), my mother (encouraging and supportive), and teachers who supported me. I was lucky to have an early exposure to engineering. In my field, I do all sorts of different water-related projects. I love projects that are drinking water supply, large hydraulics, groundwater, or climate resiliency.
